EXPECTATIONS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Our CREATIVE family offers lead/assistant teaching opportunities in several programs. We always seek talent that offers creative and new ways to exceed expectations and provide fun/engaging learning experiences for our children through a childcare worker career.

  • Lead Teachers

    All lead teachers are responsible for developing and implementing long-term and short-term lesson plans based on the schools' philosophies. They are responsible for the documentation of development through assessment. Communication with parents about their child's development is essential. Structuring the classroom to reflect the lesson plans is another responsibility of a lead teacher. Lead teachers must be vigilant about the health and safety of the children. The lead teacher is responsible for the equipment and supplies in the classroom; they must respect the equipment and go through the proper channels in ordering/maintaining supplies for the program. Finally, all lead teachers must support their continued education by the Step-Up-To-Quality Ohio program and state standards. A Bachelor's or Associate's Degree is required in Child Development or Education.

  • Assistant Teachers

    Teachers supervise the children by closely keeping them in sight and keeping proper attendance records. Health and safety are essential at our school and require teachers to keep a clean and tidy room. Using positive guidance techniques and engaging with the children through direction/play helps support the CREATIVE philosophy


    Assistant Teachers are responsible for keeping up with licensing requirements for Step-Up-To-Quality and state standards. We encourage a team approach to teaching and look for our assistants to help with classroom assessments, observations, and lessons. Finally, all assistant teachers must continue their education by the Step-Up-To-Quality Ohio program and state standards. A background in Early Childhood Education or experience as a childcare worker is a plus.
