JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Our CREATIVE family offers lead/assistant teaching opportunities in several programs. We are always looking for talent that offers creative and new ways to exceed expectations and provide fun/engaging learning experiences for our children.
All lead teachers are responsible for developing and implementing long-term & short-term lesson plans based on the schools philosophies. They are responsible for the documentation of development through assessment. Communication with parents about their child's development is very important. Structuring the classroom to reflect the lesson plans is another responsibility of a lead teacher. Lead teachers must be vigilant about the health and safety of the children. The lead teacher is responsible for the equipment and supplies in the classroom, they must respect the equipment and go through proper channels in ordering/maintaining supplies for the program. Finally, all lead teachers must maintain their continued education in accordance with the Step-Up-To-Quality Ohio program and state standards. A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree is required in Child Development or Education.
