Little Rascals

they are curious and always moving. we keep up and get their gears turning.

Little Rascals, for children ages 30 to 36 months, utilizes Innovations: The Comprehensive Toddler Curriculum. In addition to basic care and nurturing, (which includes potty training) this curriculum provides learning activities and experiences in Dramatic Play, Sensory & Art, Curiosity, Construction, Literacy, Music, Movement, and Outdoor Exploration.

The Little Rascals curriculum includes the following “Possibilities Plans” with monthly themes: Me & My Body; My Family; My Neighborhood; Fruits & Vegetables; Space; Sky; Big Animals; Little Animals; Construction; Wheels; Storybook Characters; and Water Activities and experiences offered throughout the day support all areas of development, including: physical, emotional, social, motor, language, communication and cognitive.

At this early age, it is important for our teachers to nurture and support your child’s growth. Parents are also a vital part of this process. In order to integrate some of the school activities with home activities, we will send home a curriculum guideline, which is divided into monthly themes. We highly encourage parents to work at home on topics discussed at school.

Here is this months Toddler 2 Child Development Plan, an overview of activities, enrichments and experiences.  We encourage families to use these plans at home to further support your child's development.  Feel free to ask your child's teacher for a copy of any songs or possibilities you see, were happy to help.
